EBay is so depressing. I sold an item whose resale value was minimum $30 for $18 and for some reason they've put a hold on the money until the package arrives. So now, we have to use the tiny bit of food and gas money to mail this package. A part of me does understand since so many people are only out for ,to quote the Beatles, "I, me, mine." Additionally it's not eBay's fault that I'm being forced to drive in non-urgent or last minute situations since my driver's car became a hazard. As soon as I manage to sell for less than dirt or otherwise give away what I have posted, I think I may just shut down my eBay account entirely. :(
Btw. I have flutter pony Hollywood for sale now, too.

They are probably doing that because you have not sold for a while maybe? I went through that when I had to close and account and open another one to avoid an ebay stalker. I had to make 200.00 and upload the tracking numbers fast. Eventually they quit holding my funds. If you print your label through ebay you can still use your buyers payment funds though. So I would recommend doing that instead of using your cash money for food.

@tulagirl it's strange since I'd never sold and the first ten sales weren't held. I'm thinking it has something to do with the particular buyer. I don't have access to any printers unfortunately. I've also had some trouble since I'm insisting on priority mail for the insurance as well as well as tracking, and generally less likely to be damaged. Especially on international. Four international packages have gone wrong. One of them is even coming back to me. So stressful, this selling.
Just keep going, just keep going.
I have my surgical consult today and my daughter's bookshelf will hopefully sell. The bottom of it has bins, so she likes the big bookshelf better.

Oh I didn't realize it was international. Maybe you are right on that. Yea I usually ship priority for international. Man it is expensive, but worth it to avoid hassles. Good luck with the consult. One day at a time I guess right? Ugg sometimes it is rough.

Good news. I don't have a tear. Bad news. I don't have a tear. A tear would be able to be restored surgically. I literally smashed my tendon/cartilage/soft tissue flat against the bone. So I get to live with it forever. I'll get a steroid shot tomorrow to help control the pain so that I can strengthen the muscles.
Seriously, why do I always get the ones you can't fix?

Oh boy you and I must be sisters. Seriously. You must be hurting so much. ARgh Is this an injury that just can't heal? You have my permission to walk outside and scream!

I screamed into a pillow. Just another addition to the "learn to live with it" pain and debility parade.
:snowman: I just love this snowman. So happy. And @tulagirl you're welcome to be my sister. My biological sister disowned me.

:xmashug:I am so sorry your arm is messed up :xmashug:

What about physical therapy will that help at all?

I've been doing pt since the injury. I injured it the same way back in 2011 and had 6 months of pts, plus the ongoing maintenance exercises. The shot is to help with the pain and inflammation so that I can focus more on strengthening the muscles supporting the injured area. Not much chance of regeneration. So, two giant needles today and next week start on the strengthening, because right now it hurts to pick up my 12oz soda. I don't do well without my soda. I'm probably going to be looking for a second opinion as well. The way things are set up here, there's literally one place for any joint specialists, so I'll have to go to Portland and that will cost. My co-pay is covered in state, by the state usually. There's only one group that gathered all the urologists in town so I already have to go to Portland for that since the only place here won't take my insurance. I think i need a new doctor, too. She should have referred me sooner. Sai la vie. I'll have a few days without my arm. It won't be too much worse than it already is. Then I'll do my best to improve it.

I've been in and out of pt since I was 4 so have exercises that I'm supposed to do for just about every body part/area. If I did all I'm supposed to. I'd never get time to sleep.

Oo. I also found out that this sale with the hold, the buyer is a known scammer. So I've got eBay looking into my options.

What is a sale with a hold? I am lost on that one. Hey do you have a persona detail page? @Tak

@tulagirl what's a persona detail page?

As for the hold, PayPal was anti helpful, as usual. Just need to wait and see how it unrolls.

It is a page (reference online) that shoes the hair color, body color and symbol as well as, body style of your persona. It looks like the hair and the body of your persona are purple, but I was just wondering about the details of your persona. You explained the symbol to me once, but I was wondering if you had an upclose photo of it in a detail sheet. I need to make myself one. I had drawn my pony and can't figure out what I did with that. So I guess I will start over.

Oh yea the hold on your funds duh? Good grief Tulagirl. Fibro Fog strikes again.

I have my persona written out on good 'ole paper. I can't draw so I only have pictures that others have drawn and her symbol I drew.

That is so crummy, and it's weird they'd hold your payment because of an issue with the buyer. You'd think it would be the other way around. eBay is really annoying sometimes and it gets under my skin that they charge a fee on the price you pay for shipping when you sell. With their fees and Paypal fees I don't sell on there as much as I once did. I would inquire about your Hollywood too but my husband has told me I'm not allowed to buy any ponies until after Christmas...which must mean Santa is bringing me some :D

Hollywood sold pretty quickly. She was needing to be opened and cleaned since she'd just started a tiny bit of tail rust and some wings, otherwise, she was so perfect. Glitter, eyes, symbols, *sigh* I just hope she's loved at her new home. It took a while to find her. She will be missed.

In other news. I got steroid shots in my shoulder today and it hurts so my valiant service dog is taking care of me. See how hard he works? Lol

That is adorable. Looks like your Wesley loves to do what Yuki does...Sleep on the job. A cuddle is worth a gazillion hugs though.

I got one in my wrist before they would do the surgery on it. It hurt too much to use at all for 3 days, then just made no difference. My arm is numb from about the elbow down now, which could be worse. The shoulder is better than it has been since, if I just don't move, it's not hurting. Moving it, however, nope, nope, nope. I'll give it today and tomorrow to rest before getting back to pt. From the sounds of my official diagnosis, this will turn into bursitis and always be a problem. I am thinking of getting a second opinion, just in case, but not too hopeful.
