The Goodwill outlet store is a goodwill store that has a bunch of bins that you dig through to get stuff. It is really dirty and sometimes has gross stuff... But you buy by the pound. It is so totally awesome to me. It is like treasure hunting. Oh and plus that is how i make money right now. Times are rough... But i did find a whole bunch of stuff for selling, PLUS some things to keep for myself. Had a good luck day!

List of things i found:
G1 TAF Fifi
G3 Scooter Sprite
G3.5 Pinkie Pie's mom
G3.5 Sweetie Belle
Ponyville Rainbow dash
Vintage Care Bears Hugs & Tugs Large Plush
Vintage Care Bears Cousins Swift Heart
2000s Gen Care Bears Cousins Playful Heart
Care Bears T-shirt with Sunshine Bear
Barbie Fairytopia Dahlia
Barbie Fairytopia Azura (TOTALLY KEEPING, first barbie i have fell in love with since Bob Mackie collabs)
LPS Blythe Prettiest in pearls Doll (KEEPING)
LPS Blythe Sight Seeing London Doll (some little girl cut off all her hair... I am going to try and customize her)
4 Sanrio Kids Watches (Mcdonalds ones) (There was Chococat, Melody, and 2 Sugarbunnies... one brown and one white)
There were also a pair of new boots with corset laces down the back.. 1 poofy polka dot dress and a few other articles of clothing that i am going to keep... <3

Rock-on! Lotsa loot! Very cool, awww..

Sounds like a lot of great stuff! Congrats! :)

Super finds congrats...glad someone will benefit from the cast aways...what I don't understand is the rate at which people are getting rid of newer items. Take blythe lps for example. She has not been out for long yet she is being dumped in thrift stores already. Why do people spend money on things they are just going to throw away in a month? Such a waste. . I just don't understand our "throw away, get rid of it" society. What has happened to our sense of "sentimental". Its good for those of us who collect to find such wonderful items at the thrift...I just wonder why so many "new" things are there. At least some of us know the value in things and can make money off of the throw aways. I know a visit to the thrift for me and a 5.00 purchase lead to a 50.00 ebay sale and my mom was in total disbelief that what I bought would ever bring that kind of cash. Now she never questions me. I guess I am about as confused by these types of folks as they are by me wanting a house full of collectible toys that they see is junk LOL.

Sorry to go on and on...I love sanrio watches I have one myself.

Could probably do an entire research paper on that topic. On one hand, product manufacturing has been leaning more toward disposable and cheap. Furniture used to be hand crafted; now it's churned out en masse of flimsy particle board. Electronics grow obsolete before they break down typically (when's the last time you called a tv repairman?) And of course with toys, there's so much variety easily pumped out by injection molding and an imperative by marketing professionals to BUY MORE that it's easy to wind up buried in whatever was cool last year/month/week.

And along with that, society seems to be more ADHD prone. Gotta get the latest gadgets and amusements, gotta collect 'em all. There's a lovely synergy between the consumer and marketeer.

The economy probably plays a part in it too. People losing their homes, or being forced to move in with family or to cheaper apartments, gotta get rid of the excess. Plus buying something new (and as a result having to get rid of something not as new to make room) is one form of escapism, something to temporarily distract one from less pleasant realities of the times.

Anyway, sorry to hijack your thread with this brief tangent, OP. Unfortunately I don't know enough about pre-G4 or the other items you found to be able to offer more than an empty "Congrats on your...thingies," which I'm generally loathe to do.

WOW!!!! REALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't find much these days!!!! congrats!
