ponyfeatherz signature pony CLOSED

so i realized that i didnt post this here for people...so...here is what i posted on the arena...if you already signed up there, you are on the pony so you dont need to do it here too ;) i just realized that some people never go to the arena, only the tp :)

hey everyone,

at the fair this year, we had a styling rainbow dash (donated graciously by playful heart), that we removed the symbol on, and had everyone sign. this pony will be sent off to ponyfeatherz's mom, starla. Starla has written countless letters to the many of us in the pony community who sent cards and gifts. She is extremely impressed with the kindness and generosity of the community as a whole. So I thought this would be a wonderful surprise to her.

I have some clean up and such to do this week on her, so....if any of you who did not get a chance to sign it in person, would like me to sign your username on it, just answer this thread as such, and i am happy to do it! I would post a pic of her from the fair, but our memory card broke, and we dont know if we will get the pics off of it.. so...if anyone has a pic of her from the fair, please post it!

So...anyways...please post here if you want me to write your user name on the pony, and I will be shipping her on this saturday most likely...August 4.

gah! you're right! i'm sorry! thanx for pointing that out...i must have just had "stella" on the brain or something...i have starla on my address...doh! i will go fix that now in my posts...thanx!

I'm sorry, i'm pretty new so i don't know what happened. I have seen things that hint at this "we'll miss you ponyfeathers", but I am lost. Please I would like to know what happened. If it's not to much to ask. It seems I missed something very important to all of the members.

for those of you who dont know...

ponyfeatherz was in an awful horseback riding accident, i believe the day before thanksgiving in 2006...she was in a coma for months...for quite a while it was unsure whether or not she would recover. then...she started making some progress in the nursing care facility she was in...starla was writing updates to people...it seems ponyfeatherz wasnt fully coherant, but was doing some physical things on command.

anyways...just when it seemed really hopeful for her to make some kind of meaningful recovery, she passed away...may of 2007. now apparently there is some question as to whether or not the care facility has some blame in her death. its all been very horrible, but starla has written everyone who sent cards and such i believe...i know that i got 3 letters from her along the way...she is so incredibly touched at the outreach of the pony community through all of this. so i thought this would be a great memorial for starla and her family.

i only really knew OF ponyfeatherz myself...but when you lose someone from a community, you all grieve in some way. especially when it was an accident, and someone young (she was in her 20s i believe).

please let me know if i got anything wrong...like i said, i didnt know her personally...but i am so saddened by this tragedy, and feel for her family she left behind way too soon.

Please add my name, also~> skig. I, too, received a couple of letters from her mom. It is so tragic that she passed away, and it's sickening that the people who were supposed to be caring for her may have caused her death.

It's so sweet of you to do this for her family, ASA.
