Show us some fun pictures //edit

And I really hope no one was offended.

I realize we're all trying to have fun here, and I don't mean to be a "party pooper", but there nothing all that funny about posting pictures of random people who are presumably men cosplaying as female characters or wearing clothing that doesn't "match" their gender. These are real people and if they didn't intend for their cosplay to be humorous then it's really just mean-spirited to laugh at them....

I was really scared to say something about that but yeah. I think making fun of things like that adult Pinkie figure with a gun is fair game but.

Laughing at somebody who is dressed in something that doesn't fit their perceived gender has lots and lots of transphobic/transmisogynist connotations so we should be careful.

I hope I don't sound mean. D: sorry.

I just want to say that the pic I posted should be safe. The fellow in purple specifically dressed like that to embarrass his sister in public, so he did it for the sake of comedy. A noble thing indeed. Embarrassing one's sister is something we should all do as often as possible. I got it off his Reddit post. There's another pic of him with his very red faced sissy, but I can't find it.

I meant no offense to anyone who might not appreciate my delight at his prank.

TBH, I think anyone who dresses that way probably expects to get a few laughs, and either went into it looking for laughs or are confident and brave enough to handle that reaction. I don't think they would have left the house like that or posted photos of themselves otherwise. The adult brony culture has always been bit tongue-in-cheek, and honestly, if you're an adult that likes childish things (which I believe we can ALL attest to) you need to have a sense of humour about it and be able to laugh at yourself. I have no disrespect for these men, they seriously have guts. But I'm pretty sure they also know they look a bit silly like that, and that's part of the fun of doing it. It's not limited strictly to brony culture either, I've seen men as Disney Princesses (a friend of mine went as Elsa this year). There is a difference between laughing at someone and laughing with them, and that is respect and understanding, which I believe everyone here has.

Frankly, I think a lot of people are entirely too quick to get offended for the sake of others. It's like they wake up in the morning with a protest sign in hand, ready to jump down people's throats for not being politically correct or for having differing opinions. Just look at shirtgate.

Most of these pictures are for joke purposes. I do not think that who ever did take these pictures meant them to be taken too serious. And @ladyofthenight (great "speech" btw ;D I tried to write the same kind, but you made it first, and manage do it better :D ) just did sum this thing very well.
But that no one gets too offended this is a thread were we can post funny pictures of ponies including collectors meme, just fun ponies etc. :) SO everybody can be happy ;)

I've got more :p

I totally dig the jack sparrow one. Stinking hilarious all of it, hahah!

Thank you for the context, EvilBunny, I was confused. :)

I don't know what you mean by "jumping down people's throats". No really, I was attempting to be as polite and non-confrontational as possible, and though I won't speak for Sapphire Rain, she was like-wise SUPER nice...

I was not taking some sort of illegitimate/insincere offense for the sake of "being angry". I was simply expressing my discomfort at what appeared to mocking someone in the "wrong" clothing. And what seemed like singling out specific individuals, which when they haven't actually done anything wrong, can turn pretty mean. Perhaps I can sometimes be "overly" empathic but the idea of that did not sit well with me. I've only been here a year, and only have felt brave enough to start "joining in" in this last month or so, but this is usually a very friendly forum and I was worried this thread would take a wrong turn.
I really did not and do not want to start any fight, but I have not accused anyone of anything or have been mean, so I really don't appreciate your aggression. To me, you are the one being oddly offended here.

But again, I'm not looking to start a fight. Concerns were voiced, context was given. Now it is done and we can move along and have a fun little thread!

On that note, heres a fun video that I'm sure many of you may have already seen, but eh! lol

I like this thread :) here's a some posts I like in particular ^^

Here are some of the funniest (and most disturbing) brony images I've found:

Personally I view both of these pictures in an artistic P.O.V. I've always wanted a ponysuit like the Pinkie Pie one (reminds me of CATS..could PONIES be next? ;) ) and the fellow above is quite charming in a sense ^_^

He loves all lady's pics and thinks he is even prettier than them!

I totally respect guys and dig them even more when they dress up as any female character! <3 It shows that they're not ashamed of theirselves and doesn't let their masculinity get in the way of having some feminine like fun! ^^

I posted this on my comic board and scared everyone...

These are really unique, I would love to see a TV show like this or an underground movie done with these kinda costumes :p

I found one in Spanish that said "Women don't fart, they release a small cloud of gas that smells like rainbows and sounds like a baby unicorns laugh"

Seems legit .-.
