I thought I’d post something different.
It’s times ladies and gents to show off your hard work and share your deflocked ponies. (Maybe also share your story and techniques used of deflocking said pony.) Curious, has anyone deflocked a SS Heartthrob? Just curious if her heart wings are there or not?
My first deflock was super easy. It was a SS Twilight I had bought locally and her flocking was terrible. It was yellowed and thinned from being in a smoking home (not cigarettes - the house was very ... aromatic for lack of a better word/description). So her flocking just came off easily in hot water and Oxiclean soak. (I also re-rooted her and left her mane extra long because I liked it.)
My second deflocking “project” is still a work in progress months later. Hippity Hop is testing my patience. I have done everything short of paint thinner to get the dang flocking off and it’s a disappointing outcome so far. But I am determined to get her flocking off one way or another.
