I just finished him last night. I made him for my dad for fathers day. I know I'm early but I just had to show him off.
Before I show you the picks let me explain the meaning of the pony. My dad was in the US navy. He was aboard the USS Enterprise cvn-65 in 1964 for the Mediterranean Cruise Operation Sea Orbit. He's proud of that. He loves telling stories of his navy days.
I chose the name Shellback because it means you have crossed the equator before. Those who have not are Pollywogs.
And now for the best part.
The pictures. Enjoy!
Shellback
I didn't plan this but see the cancer spot. It fits well with this pony because my dad had gotten skin cancer in the 90s from to much sun during his navy days.
