I was looking on eBay and I saw a MIB Fashion Style AJ go for $140 and several loose going for the 40-50 range...is this a fluke or is she suddenly very rare?

While I'm at it...a PC would also be great for Mexico no country AJ, Dollymix AJ and German carded Italian AJ w/ curly hair. Just general loose, mint prices please so I can adjust down apropriately for varying conditions. Pretty please?

All the Fashion Style ponies are becoming increasingly rare, with AJ and Rarity being the most sought after. I believe the princesses are getting there now. The least rare is Fashion Style Rainbow Dash, I believe.
 
People were looking for them at the fair. There were some for sale, but they were asking , if I recall correctly, something like $80. I was... startled? To say the least. I don't know if anyone paid that at the fair, but I thought I saw someone walking around with one. (it's all such a blur now lol)

Did I read somewhere that they're doing a re-release of her this fall, or is that just an unfounded rumour?
 
I'd better start picking them up.... wow. I had no idea.
 
I can kinda believe that, I really wanted one but never picked one up and they weren't on the shelves very long here. When I did see them there were only 1-2 at each store as well. Where as I can probably still find about 6 RD's at target alone.
 
This is saddening considering AJ is my favorite character, but I had heard people say she was expensive.
 
Does anyone know if the values differ for the different variants? (Different color accessories)? I have a MIB one with a pink ribbon, dark pink and purple apple barrettes, green and light pink flower barrettes and a dark pink comb, and a loose mint one with the original plastic pat of the package with a purple ribbon, green and purple apple barrettes, a light pink and a dark pink flower barette, and a dark pink comb. I didn't even realise I had 2 different ones till I just looked up her wiki!

I found a few Fashion Style AJ's at a Walgreens in a small town. I got $100 a piece for them on eBay. So that's an accurate price range at the moment.

The Fashion Style ponies were released 2 at a time, with 1 pony from the previous set being released with a new pony in the case revision. The first set was Applejack & Rarity. The second set was Rarity & someone else... Fluttershy I think? Because of this system every pony was released twice except the first (Applejack) & the last (Twilight, I think). The later case revisions are still in stores. Fluttershy, Pinkie Pue, Rainbow Dash, & Twilight Sparkle are still fairly easy to find. Applejack & Rarity have been out of most stores for nearly a year, but since twice as many Rarities were made, she's not selling for as much as AJ, although Rarity seems to be going for $30-50 on eBay.

Well since I'm not willing to sell my own... guess I should just hope I luck out and find some :p

can't believe I didn't hang on to my loose one longer.. I sold her for retail like last year :sigh:

Mexico Applejack $15-25
Italian on a German card - if it's the collector pose I'd say $100-ish... maybe $75-125 depending on who's looking & if you're auctioning vs asking a flat price. If its the shy pose, I'd say $50-80.
Dollie Mix Applejack... not really sure, but guessing $2-3. These reached their peak price when they were in stores & everyone wanted to complete their sets. Now I think they're only selling for their original retail value.
 
I paid 10 for my mexican aj, but i think i paid like 20 for my 2 peru (i can't remember which one she is, its either peru or something else) apple jacks, and 25 for my italian aj.
