Alright, so this is my first real MLP custom! Yay! I wanted to make my sister a custom pony for her birthday. She loves the color kelly green and seahorses, so I made a custom to fit her. There are some few final touches I haven't gotten to finish, like some black and white striped leg warmers and she's going to have fins for wings, but I really wanted to show y'all! I had a rough time with this girl. Oh, flutter mechanisms melt, btw. She has a really bad neck, which I tried to fix with Sculpey - only to find out that I think my Sculpey is too old; it just would not bake! So the neck still doesn't look great, and in the process of fixing the neck, I melted the flutter mech. You learn from mistakes though, right? I also had to strip the paint all off and start over, today. My sister's birthday was today too, so I did this girl in a day.

Bait: G1 Flutter Cloudpuff - the poor thing had the worst case of regrind I have ever seen!
Painted with Folk Art acrylics. Sealed with DeltaCeramcoat Matte, Glossy for the eyes.
Rehaired with Dollyhair's Black Magic, Poison Ivy, and Sour Apple Martini.
Um, I think that's it for the specs. So here she is!

The pictures aren't great - my computer and digital camera aren't compatible, so I have to use my phone for pictures.

I may try to get some better pictures taken; if I'm able to, I'll edit this to show y'all ^.^

She looks wonderful! Very nice work as your first. I may have to start pushing you again for Skig's swap lol

Awww thankies Pika ^.^ She was a lot of frustration, but I'm pretty happy with the end result ^.^ Ya know, if there wasn't the issue of hair and a bait that would fit whatever pony I'd need to make - as my baits are very limited - I'd really try to do it. I hope there's a round 3. I like hearing that I'm wanted in the swap though ;)

I think she came out great! Its a really pretty green, is it rit dye or acrylic?

Ooh, cuuute! ^_^
I can't see anything wrong with her neck.
(When I read the title I was thinking it would be a seapony with flutter wings. That would have been weird TTX.)

Ha that would be really odd o.o
But thanks luv! <3 It was hard giving her away xD I am pretty proud of myself, I gotta say ^.^ And I'm glad you can't see her neck problems - although I do think the major flaws are hidden by her hair. xD

Thanks Bella Luna ^.^ Thats nice to hear from someone who does so many customs! The green is acrylic paint ^.^ It is Folk Art brand, and the color is called Kelly Green

Well done! Her symbol is adorable. :3

Awww thank you! I had a lot of trouble with it! I did them both completely freehand o.o It wasn't looking so good until I added the detailing. It's good to hear that kind of compliment when I struggled with it so much ^.^

Thanks Midnight!

She looks great! The little seahorse is adorable, and I love that body color!

Awww thank you skig! I really struggled freehanding the seahorses, so it's nice to be getting praise on them ^.^ I've got to plan more customs using that color - I love it ^.^

oh how cute! I love that green very sea like :D

Thank you so much miss! ^.^

i love the green :D she looks so cute, nice painting, great colours and a very sweet symbol :3

teehee I knew you'd love all the green! Thanks so much luff <3 I'm glad that she's being so well-received by all my pony luffs too ^.^

Her colors are wonderful. Such a great job for a beginning custom.
