What is the best for sculpting? and where can i get it cheap in the UK? Or with Minimal shipping from abroad?

I need to make some boots and an outfit for my wondermint 'Me' so am looking at using something other than green stuff

I'm not sure about the UK... I use apoxie sculpt and it's awesome.. you can get just a little jar of it and shipping wasn't so bad to Canada.. I loved it so much I bought more... but other than that maybe your local craft store has a self-hardening putty or even clay?

You can use Fimo clay or Sculpy. Basically the same stuff miniature artists use. It comes in many colors (I usually just use white and paint it) and should be easy to find even in the UK.

Fimo is sold world-wide and made by a German company... (yeah wikipedia!) Here is a UK seller of it.

Be sure to read up on how to use it. You have to really work the clay to get it moistened otherwise it can crumble. It's one of those you heat in the oven to cure.
