This princess is just so pretty!

I wanted to buy her so bad at PFF in San Antonio, but ran out of money for her. So when I got paid again I contacted the seller and she still had her and she shipped her to me! I couldn’t resist!

we're both doomed- i have a full wishlist of g2's. except i dont know if i would ever buy a g2. g3 are less expensive so i'll stick to those

Once I’m done the G1 NA collection I want I plan to dabble in G2 more seriously.

So we’re all doomed. I just really looking to get my little hands on Clever Clover MIB right now. Because I must own one of each of him for obvious reasons.

I purposely left G2 McDonald’s Morning Glory in a charity shop as I wasn’t really into G2’s or the hard plastic of the McDonald’s ponies

That same one is now sitting on top of my bookshelf now with my other miscellaneous ponies.

G2's have a certain appeal that the other gens don't. They're so different from the others. Plus, excellent accessories, playsets, and I'm a sucker for eye gems. Although the ones with large ball joint necks are still a bit disturbing.

I think the tops of their heads are a little too small but other than that, I think they are super cute

You make a really good point. If their leads were a little bigger, it would look more proportionate.

admittedly for me, G2 is an acquired taste as I am admittedly biased to the G1/G3 crew that hit my own childhood and than kids... but after all the FiM deer mice established themselves firmly among the pony pantheon, I am sure G2 is just as qualified... here is my rule to not fall in love : make sure you aren't able to regularly see it. So don't place that pony on a visible-to-you shelf/spot or else, be warned ;-) (and oh my goodness don't work on brushing or styling pony hair - that habit can be deadly to inspire acquiring more... )
