I made a post on the MLP Arena like 2 years ago with this same question but I never really got a clear answer.
I have pretty much all of the scented G3s now (except Bay Breeze… ha…) but all of them except for like 2 no longer have their scents on their cutie marks.
My grand plan is to find the right kind of oils to buy and reapply to their cutie marks and restore their scents.
I found some scented oils that match their themes or are close enough to their original scents, but I haven’t bought any because I’m worried about the chemicals in the oils clashing with the oils in the ponies’ plastic/paint and cause stains.
And I kinda want the scents to linger and not last for half a day or whatever.
Does anyone know what kind of scented oils/chemicals Hasbro used or might have used to give the scented ponies their fragrances? Or a good alternative oil type?
I’ve tried researching it on my own but I haven’t had much luck.
