Removing stains from ponies.

I'm a newbie to ponies, so I really don't know what to do. A month or two ago I got the G2 twins Study and Play from a classifieds website for cheap. I couldn't see in the picture but they have nasty red stains on their sides from wearing plastic saddles. Other than that they're in very very nice condition. :|

I know about sunfading, but, does it work on colourful ponies? Will it fade their plastic colour? Are there any other ways it might come off? :|

I don't know if it wil get those clean for sure but I use mr clean magic eraser for a lot of my dirty ponies. Hope this helps. Good luck!

Staining of that nature is, sadly, usually not removable. :( Keeping saddles on ponies for any length of time will often result in stains. A Magic Eraser, while effective on surface stains, can't remove stains embedded in the plastic. I would recommend finding their clothes (those twins did come with clothes, right?) or styling their hair over the marks.

You can try this I cannot say if it will work due to the fact I have never seen staining of that magnitude but it works sometimes on Barbie who also can get stains from her clothing. Acid tone get it at your walgreens in the nail care section (make sure you get 100%) and take a cotton ball and wipe very carefully over the marks be careful since it can take of the heat tempered paint that the ponies are painted in. (In other words don't rub it over any paint you want to keep.) It is hit or miss, sometimes it works sometimes not.

Ive heard others in here talk about goof off..but I think it can melt the pony and I dont know it works on ponies of color? Someone could go into more detail about goof off.
