I want to try doing a multiple color rehairing, but I'm unsure how to go about it. Do you rehair each plug different? Or do you use multiple colors in each plug? lol I want to go for that really mixed in color look. lol :)

For me personally, there are two options.

1. I absolutely love the look of the rainbow hair ponies. If I want to do one, I just figure how many colors I want to use, how many plugs of each I'll need, and put them in a row like on usual rainbow hair ponies.

2. I also love the custom blends you can get on Restore Doll, so I have them mix two colors to look like highlights. I've got a gorgeous baby custom with "highlighted" lime green hair, and I'm curling another one with dark blue hair and teal highlights.

I'm not sure how nice a pony would look if you mixed a bunch of different colored strands into one plug, but then I've never seen it done before! :)

yeah, be careful there. if you mix each color in a single pplug your likly to have it turn out looking grey. I imagine it would act like mixing paints.

Every color carries in it a PRIMARY (red, blue, and green) when those three are mixd you get a mudy grey. so the same would be true if you mixed and combo of colors carring the three primary.

even though its hair from far off I dont think it would hof up.
could be cool if you did each plug as one color and mix what plug gets what color, instead of going down the line from the red, orange, yellow, ect from front to back. you know just get all your plugs ready and lay them out in no order and pic on up with out seeing what one your reaching for and plug it. could be nice to see what color ended up by what.
heck, i might try it myself.
