Re-hairing

Okay so I have never done this but I have a TE Whizzer that's perfect except the first four plugs of her hair are cut and I really wanna fix her up. I've watched some videos about re-hairing the mane but it's always the whole head, would it work just to do the first four plugs and leave the rest intact or do you have to take it all out to do it??

Just doing the four should be fine.

I dont see why just doing a small rehair is a problem. I rehair ponies alot in fact I find it fun. I havent done recently. I do miss it.

You can do just a few plugs, it works just fine. Just be sure they're in there securely!

And wear gloves or a couple of thimbles. I did a rehair once without them, and my fingers were killing me the next day.
