I think dolls really depend on the doll. I’m not a fan of the porcelain dolls of the 80-90’s they’re kinda creepy when in a room together watching you, forever.

But like Cabagepatch, Hugga Bunch, Rainbow Brite, Barbie, Monster High, etc.. I’m cool with them. Even the turn of century dolls I like... just something about the eyes they put in the newish ones..

Dolls have never creeped me out, though I’m not super into them either. (Not counting MLP, which are more plastic figurines). I prefer animals and plushies

My SO is not creeped out by my pony collection or love for other cutesy childhood things. I do like dolls a lot but I have not bought any but I find the doll aesthetic very pretty too. I like to keep my childhood things around, it reminds me of my carefree days and memories haha.

My random thought is how on earth do companies that make fakies get away with coping art work and pony molds... like blatantly copying the box art work and logos just changing the name... it’s so weird how it even gets put in stores to me!!

From what I’ve heard, it’s actually really hard to crack down on that kind of thing because so many people do it. All it takes is getting a pattern and then making copies of it. One place gets shut down, but other places keep using the pattern.

It’s crazy to me though how similar they can be... I notice a lot of g3.5 fake molds coming up as new. Its always funny to see though g4 packaging with a g3.5 pony inside.

I noticed last week that since the Raptors (Canadian NBA finialist team) have been doing well. The crime in Toronto has been down significantly. Today the news and Toronto police confirmed my thoughts last week... what does this say about the “lifestyle” of NBA fans? I’m never one to judge but it’s hard to ignore.
