Question: which would you rather have?

I would take the pony with the silky hair. I don´t like frizzy hair. That looks old and used.

I hate frizzy hair, so I would go with silky. I do love original curl, but it tends to frizz with time anyway. You can always re-curl.
 
all of my ponies when they get here, even the ones straight out of the box (the G3s, i wouldn't do that to the older ones, plus i don't have any MOC) get a gentle scrub in the tub and a hair full of conditioner...i love them with the silky hair, and i love the G3s with their hair straight
 
I would go for the straight and silky hair. Then at least when she arrives you can re-curl it yourself and the hair will still be shiny.

Silky! Original curls are only original curls if they are still nice, manicured, and well, not frizzy/messy. If the curls are NOT frizzy, I've had success gently brushing the curls to be smooth curls again (my Tux had his hair messed up on the trip over, and I was able to straighten them up to factory again by wrapping each curl around a finger and brushing in the direction it went)
 
I would definately choose the silky and straight, because I hate the frizz.

If I had to choose I'd pick the one with the silky hair and then I might recurl - depends on the pony.
