I have an airbrush that I still haven't used, but this is besides the point. LOL....
Now, I know that there's others out the like myself who paint by hand. I know that acrylic is the preferred kind. But I've actually been using enamel for a couple of specific customs I'm trying to get done in the next month or two, and I was wondering if any of you fellow customizers ever use it? Even multi-surface seems pretty good.
I am actually finding it to be not only thicker, but smoother to work with, and I don't need as many coats as I do when I use acrylic. I just have to be really precise and really careful when I do use it. I haven't had any problems with it flaking off or anything. I don't bake it because it recommends to do so for class and ceramic. (Somehow, 30 minutes of baking a pony doesn't sound like a good plan.... but I live in Florida, so I could just set them outside at high noon and be done with it....LOL)
(BTW, no, I'm not planning to use enamel in the airbrush!)
Take care!
