The fact he has that little off-model tacked on vest thing and Shining Armor's eye deco design really makes me think he's a prepaint of deco and tooling designed for Big Mac. It wouldn't surprise me if we see everyone's favourite big bro pony revealed to be coming in the 2012 line very soon.
 
With a g4 stallion mold now in existance, hopefully we'll now get more G4 stallions!
 
i wish they would stick with the plastic hair, so they actually look like the box art.

I've a feeling Hasbro has caught on how many want boy ponies, and will milk it as long as they can with playset-exclusive boys before finally relenting and selling them individually.

I was looking closely at the new Shining Armor toy. His little red vest/bib thingee may not be accurate to the animation image we have seen (in which he wears a gold trimmed red shirt much more like and almost certainly inspired by Prince William), but it is very similar to Prince Blueblood's little black vest/bib thingee from FiM's "The Best Night Ever" episode. Given Hasbro really milks their molds with this line, I can't imagine this similarity is any accident, leading me to think that we may be about to see Prince Blueblood appear in plastic as well.
