So I found a pack of those paint your own postcards recently in my watercolor supplies and thought...wouldn't it be fun to paint pony postcards and mail them out....but then who would I send it to?

So here is the deal... Cards can be handmade of any heavy stock paper...3 1/2 by 5 1/2 inches. International members welcome to join. You must be willing to mail internationally too. But for goodness sakes it's only a postcard so it will be cheap! If you don't want your artwork hurt I would suggest putting it in an evelope....not as fun but less damaging! lol
Any PG rated pony art welcome. All generations, any theme. Any skill level.

(the basics)
You will make only ONE card and mail it to ONE person. If there is an odd number I will make the extras. Sign up by JUNE 8TH at 10 am eastern! MAIL out by JUNE 22nd at midnight! That gives everyone 2 full weeks to draw one tiny drawing!

ooo i'd love to join! and might i say laminating post cards is allowed-my mom has done is a couple of times and the post office hasn't yelled. it actually an easy way to turn a regular photo into a post card...but i digress

and could i point out that during those 2 weeks is the Fair, and I'm sorta expecting to be busy (not that I couldn't make time to do a single post card) but I'm just saying...if that's an issue for other peoples or not.

Oh but fast question: you said any Gen and any theme, but what about style? Is it ok for me to draw my anthro/anime style?

Any guidelines regarding art materials, or just whatever we'd like to use? (I ask because I usually do collage work with different materials. I see laminating is in my future here...)
 
no limits on style or media as long as it's a pony theme!

Sorry if the timing is wrong for those going to the fair. But to be fair *giggle* not everyone can go and this gives us a chance at some pony fun too. If it's too tight a scheldule for you this round...we may do another later!

I'm so proud of myself...I got my partner's ponies finished before I trundled off to work tonight. Just need to figure out how to get them placed on the postcard. (ATC card making has made me ridiculously speedy at this!)

Whippet, should we post pics before we mail our cards, or wait until our partners get them?
 
quick question. should we write something on them? like a short letter or something? or leave it blank if we stick it in an envelope.

Totally up to you...But I know I will write something and look forward to seeing what someone writes to me. :)
