Posey variant

Prototypes of Posey?

I know that clipper on here is very knowledgeable. He's also very busy. There's definitely Posey prototypes out there somewhere. They don't come up often.

There's a So-Soft Posey prototype that has yellow hair, and IIRC her symbols and even her eyes are painted OVER her flocking. She is more of "a prototype of flocking" than anything else, I think.

Also interesting. And paint over the flocking? Sounds wrong but k.

Hey guys! I know this comes super late in the forum, and idk if any one you will ever check, but I believe I ran across the purple flowered Posey!

A friend of mine gave me a huge batch of her sisters ponies they got while in the UK (I'm in the states). She has been in a box for decades, so unless she was painted in the late 80s/early 90s, she has not been touched. The flowers do look legit! Both of Italy.

I have found that it is more than likely a legit purple Posey. I found a blog where someone else had received a purple Italian Posey from a monthly box subscription. Looked exactly like mine, purple flowers and blue eyes.

The Italian Poseys have blue eyes, where the other variants, including the UKs have green. All magenta ponies I have seen have green eyes, and I have not seen any magenta variants coming from Italy. Both my Italian Poseys have blue eyes, so I would be doubtful that her symbol has faded.
