Ponytails' wedding toppers - pic heavy

Ponytails put out a request this past Spring for toppers for her wedding in June. These guys were a lot of fun experimenting with as I've never done dragon wings or flutter wings before.

His wings are made from apoxie and are anchored into his body on a nail to keep the contact point thin. Her wings are fantasy film. Since they are Rainbow each color is an individual wing.

The female base pony had a pearl finish which needed to be matched on the gradients. Going from purple to Peach was kind of a hard fade that involved both paint and dye.

The symbol's where probably the biggest challenge since they had to be almost identical on both side and the stargate/cowboys one was a bit hard to do.

they look amazing though, despite the difficulites you mentioned. the colors are so nice and smooth ad the wings bpoth look fab. a very lovely job
