Wanted to share this drawing I did of pony-fying a character: Noble the Sugar Fairy!

I would love love LOVE to make a custom of him if I ever got my hands on a bait flutter pony

Noble is originally from a REALLY obscure and old anime version of the story of Thumbelina (Thumbelina a Magical Story if anyones interested, it’s on youtube.) Almost no one has any idea what I’m talking about when I bring it up (people often mistake it for the Don Bluth Thumbelina but this came out 2 years earlier in 1992. Anyways, I am very fond of this movie since it was important to my childhood and it’s very whimsical and magical, and Noble is my favorite character. He’s a little fairy made out of sugar with wings, and he can transform into a dragonfly. His voice actress is Mona Marshall (You might know her from digimon! As Izzy Izumi and Terriermon!) Anyways I hope yall like my art :ponylove:(I draw a lot but I don’t know if I’ve posted any of my drawings onto MLPTP before this….)

(Attaching an image of the character from the anime as a reference pic :3 )

You did very well with this! I love the colours and design. I bet this pony really would look good as a custom. Those colours… I love them

I don’t know why Noble feels familiar to me and that Thumbelina. Is it because I’ve somehow come across this anime in my many years of my interest or have I somehow seen it when I was younger? I wonder if I could have had the disc once come through the post as a kid since I still have my copy of ‘Grimm’s Fairytale Classics’ of Puss in Boots and Little Red Riding Hood. I feel I’m missing another disc but Thumbelina is not Grimm’s and wasn’t from Nippon!

Oh yeah! Honestly I think older cartoons can be really interesting, especially fairytales and the like
