How do you usually fix up your ponies' hair? Not the really nasty hair, I know most of those tricks. I mean those ponies that just need a little styling. In particular, I'm wondering what conditioners you use. And pics would be great!

I bought some SLHs from spoosh on ebay a little while back, and 2 in particular arrived with absolutely AMAZING hair.

I thought it was just fancy photography, but they look that amazing in person! Not quite as SHINY BLINDING, but smooth and styled and wonderful.

Anybody? XD

Hey there! :)

I am glad you like their hair in person. I use a regular, less-than-two-dollars, shampoo-and-conditioner-in-one kind of Suave shampoo from Wal-mart. Nothing special! :)

I actually just bought a bottle of sauve conditioner at the dollar store, the kind that's supposed to make it "smooth and shiny". After removing the curlers, at least one of the ponies looked a lot like the ones you sent, Spoosh. Still not as shiny, though. XD

I think it's also the photography. Good still product photography does wonders. I went to a photostudio for one of my graphic design classes. He has a cool set up. <3

I wish you could take a photo of me <3

* Wash body (and hair if the hair is dirty) with antibacterial soap

* Use whatever v05 conditioner is handy, let it sit maybe a minute or two (I usually try to do an assembly line while I'm washing, which is good for the conditioner to get its mojo on.)

* Wash out with hot water (if it's straight hair) or lukewarm to cold for curly hair

* Use any curling equipment I might need to define the curls a little

* Set hair as desired, then leave her alone while she air dries

* Take out any curling equipment and run a brush through the hair. All done!

I found the G3s look miles better after conditioner. My long hairs especially agreed with the spa treatment. :)
