Pony Smooze

Do I have to remove all the smooze before a pony is safe to be with the herd? I have a TAF Scoops that was filled with mold and has pin dot mold. I've eradicated the inside mold, did an OxiBath, but she still has a a few dots. I haven't tried boiling yet. How long should I boil for? Thanks!

I usually let her dry for two days after the bath and then put her back. I haven't tried boiling, but I sometimes I dip a pony in hot water (not boiling, just below the boil level). I wouldn't soak her, just dip her so she doesn't get out of shape. Also you can get those little silica gel packets from amazon and throw those in your pony boxes to keep the moisture away from them.

If it's dirt, it won't spread. If it's fungus, then it'll only spread if the humidity gets too high.
