Pony room (in progress) Getting there!

Dru, Dru, Dru.. all-mighty pony goddess :p

Amazing to watch your pony room take form and shape up and into what you're wanting and it's really turned out amazing to say the least! Fab job, I love the displays and all your stuff, thanks so much for sharing.

But... I have to say, out of alllll those delicious looking displays with one smezy pony after another, my favorite, even after almost 10 years of collecting and seeing and finding new stuff... is still your giant Sundance. She's like my grail *le sigh* I just love that pony and the whole story about her ^^

I am glad to say i have been clearing out all the bags that have been lying around full of extra stuff. i now have some room in the middle of the floor, i can really see the floor.

now i dont know what to do with the g3 pony's stacked against the wall with no shelves to put them on

just a little update, no new pictures yet.

I have been debating back and forth what to do about my g3 ponys and g3 pony stuff.

Do i

1: keep it all stacked neatly on the floor
2: get rid of it by selling it all
3: buy new white book cases for it all.

Can you all guess what i did?

everythings looking great! totally love it all :D

also with the g3 stuff, well idk what to say for you... if you dont have the room and want to sell it, think how u will feel once its all gone... if u think it will be fine go for it, but if u will miss it, dont sell it, and buy some more bookcases

Personally im all for the get more bookcases idea!

That's what i did, i broke down and purchased 3 new book cases to match the other ones. They are supposed to arrive Monday the 8th. so once they get here i can start working on the room again. that is after i ask my boyfriend really nicely to put them together for me :)

I did think about selling allot of the stuff but right now i dont think i can do it.
 
yeah i though about my g3 collection a while back, and anything like that i think ;how will i feel if i see it?' im treating myself to two new bookcases in Jan :D
can wait to see what it looks like :D btw did you find the princess stuff?

actualy no the other princess are still missing, however my boyfriend told me they might be in some plastic bins i have packed in the corner.

gosh, i really hope so.
 
My 3 new bookcases are soposed to be in on monday nov 8 but i just got a call from the store and they are allready in early.

i cant wait to pick them up tonight or tomorrow morning.

Drusilla, that is an epic pony room. What a brilliant collection and it looks so nicely displayed.

That giant Sundance is absolutely amazing. What a steal that you got her for only $60...even if you had to clean bugs and bird poop off of her. It's a wonder that you got her to look as good as she does after all the gunk that was on her.
I used to live in Ontario and don't remember ever seeing her in any store displays. Maybe that's a good thing. I don't think my family would have been able to drag me away from her.
 
fiddlephan thanks for the comments, i hope to get into the pony room again today at some point. i am off work today, i took a vacation day.. woohoo

i got to work on my g2 shelf, i only had 1 shelf before but now that im organizing it all i might need 2? so my issue now is. do i put the g2s on the same shelf as the g1? or as the same shelf as the g3 but use the bottom shelf's?

i am just thrilled that sundance survived.

Now my other problem that has shown up is that i have no wear to put these plastic bins.. im not sure if i will display only g3 ponys and pack the pony stuff away. But with the bins in the middle of the room i can display paradise estate
