Do you nickname your ponies? I tend to nickname everyone (co-workers, hubby, random people at the gym who have the same schedule as me, even my dogs have about 6 nicknames each)
I know we have common collector nicknames (for example, "Punzie" for Rapunzel). But I realized as I was rearranging my ponies that I call Rainbow Dash "Dash," or "Dashy." And G3 Butterscotch is "Scotchy." A lot of my pony nicknames are just shortened versions of their real name (Pinkie Pie is just Pinkie and Baby Goody Gumdrop is Gummy). Cherries Jubilee is CJ and Applejack is AJ. And what was Hasbro thinking with Up, Up & Away and Tink-a-tink-a-too? In my herd, those are Helium and Tink. I also decided I don't like the name Sew-and-so. To me, she's called Patches.
These are just a few examples of my nicknames. Anyone else do this? Wanna share some?
