Pony building restoration

Someone had an awesome post well over a year ago that I can't find to save my life! She had the Lullaby Nursery and possibly the Baby Bonnet School of Dance or others, and showed before after pictures. She did not re-paint them, but did SOMETHING and made them look just like new instead of discolored from age. Does anyone remember that post, or can you give me some tips? That's something I'm very interesting in trying. I'd also love to try it on my Nintendo. What products do you recommend for trying to clean up and restore old plastic? Thanks in advance!
