Ponies are Predators

I was just looking at the G4 and G5 toys and TV/Movie art and the newer generations are predators. More so with G5 than G4. A predators eyes tend to face forward more, more on the front of the face. It makes it easier to focus on prey and as a predator you don't have to watch you back as much. Predator like features means they would have a more meat based diet along with the veg diet ponies would normally eat. They are omnivores.

G4s do have the eyes still toward the side of the head but they are more forward than previous generations.
G4.5s and G5s they are facing completely front. On the toys and in the shows they have forward facing eyes making the more and more like predators.

In conclusion slowly from G1 to G5, mainly being noticeable in G4 to G5, ponies have been evolving into predators as the configuration of the eyes have shifted forward toward the front of their skulls.

I was looking at the Pony food that came with the Sea castle and it was literally Crab cakes, sushi, Lobster, and Shrimp & Dip... I thought it odd at first for ponies in generally be eating but then I was like well, we'd have a fat princess if she kept eating cake & cookies all the time so why not.

But yes, I thought something similar... G5 resembles centaurs for me, because the head is more human-like than pony-like. From G4 and up they are signifincantly less horse-like. I have a G4.5 Rarity, and she actually looks like a white cat!

OMG! I never noticed that!! Haha so weird to think of ponies eating meat haha you rarely ever see them eat anything but salads and sweets these days.

Come to think of it, I wonder if any of the old g1 cartoons had them eating burgers? Its been so long since ive seen it, but the diners with milkshakes seems like a burger place haha.

There was a pony I used to ride that was recused from a neglectful owner and she had only survive because she and some other horses ending up eating some of the sheep in there field.. I imagine they had already passed away... Sad scenario but it's crazy how animals survive! She was a tough girl that's for sure! ❤️
