Please tell me someone here snagged the sewing machine

I was looking for ponies on the Pittsburgh Craigslist and came across a vintage sewing machine for $20. They said they didn't know if it worked, even though they had pictures of it out of the box. I emailed about it and was told it was sold. I am hoping that someone from here got it. It was really cute, but I had no idea what I would do with it. I just felt that I needed to ask about it (and I would have bought it anyway!)

Don't be bummed if you really want one. They come up for sale from time to time, they aren't that uncommon. I was given one by my mom before I moved, don't remember if I took it or not, and I know she didn't pay that much for it from Ebay.

Firefly sewing machine

I have a yellow one with Firefly on it. It has a pedal attached for a battery. It has a needle in it. Since I don't anything about sewing , I don't know it it is complete or if it works. It is cute tho-that's why I bought it. I'm getting rid of some of my G1 things so I have room for my G3's. I would trade for G3's I am missing.

I got one off of Ebay for around $20 sometime last month, I believe. I know nothing about sewing, but it was far too cute to pass on. And it had Medley on the box...whom is my favorite.

I bought one on eBay years ago for about $15 shipped? It didn't work but the mechanism was so simple that I fixed it and I am not at all good with fixing things. The only problem you might run into fixing a broken sewing machine is that the plastic inside mine was very brittle. I vaguely remember thinking that it wouldn't stand up to many more repairs.

It's cute but not powerful or fast enough to do any sort of professional sewing if I'm remembering right. The needle moved very slow which I suppose you would want for a child's toy.

Actually, yes. I happened upon it and thought I'd be too late - the post was a day old. I have been wanting one for awhile and snatched it up. I don't plan to use it, as I just got an awesome new machine for Christmas. It should be coming in the mail sometime this week. I'll post pics when it gets here.
