The fact remains, what someone posts on Tumblr and posts here may be very different things. I know, personally, that I would be angry if someone I knew on FB or Tumblr started passing around my information without asking me first. It's simply not your information to pass around.
I don't have an "issue with you," I'm saying that, in this specific instance, there is no need to post someone else's photos; she is a member here, if she chose to she could share her photos in this thread. If you want to share photos so much, I recommend you buy the ponies and take some of your own, instead of taking other people's photos without permission, or even attempting to ask for said permission.
A) I believe this conversation should have been private. Why didn't you pm her?
B) Clearly whoever owned those pictures chose to post them on a public sharable site. FB & Tumblr are two entirely different websites. FB, on most accounts is & should be private only if its your personal account. Now, I don't use tumblr so I don't know if here is a way to not allow your blogs/pictures to be shared or spread elsewhere but considering people can follow her clearly it is not private. Therefore not a private picture regardless of circumstance.
C) Tumblr is not DeviantArt or FB. On both those websites, there is a rule that photos posted on account owners (not group owners) belong to the original poster and it is illegal to claim things posted there as your own, although the actual websites can use the drawings in promotional things around the site and people can share artwork with proper credit regardless of the owner or the owner's permission (it's in the user agreement). Tumblr does not have that. Everything is free reign. Asking, would have been the polite thing to do but was not necessary unless the original owner specified it.
On topic:
I love these new ponies. I went to see them on my birthday, I was going to ask for them as my one present but my parents had already got me something without me knowing. I'm definitely saving up though, they were so cute in person...I hope I can pick one up before they sell out..
