Pictures of my deflocked ponies

Here my first and only deflock job. My name sake. Her hair is a little messier now than she used to be, but that's because she's been in storage with the rest of my ponies. I should find a stand or something to keep her rearing and keep her out for display.

As you can see.. She's using my TV remote as her leaning post. But I love Skippety Doo deflocked better than flocked. When I got her, it was with a box of baits that I won on Ebay. Her flocking was really dirty and I believe it was pretty well worn to begin with, not just.. general play worn like some of my other So Softs. I didn't go for this acetone nail polish.. I used straight up acetone out of the can from Lowe's (Please use caution if doing this, make sure you use it outside and with gloves on and away from flames. If you're underage, get parental supervision). I love my NSS Skip to death.

I agree. I love the aqua/red combo without the fuzziness.

I love your deflocked Skippity Doo! I love her colors. She's one that I've bid on a few times on eBay, but she always goes for more than I want to pay. I can't wait to get her.

They look great! What did you use to deflock them? I tried deflocking once and it turned into a horrible mess =[

nice job!

I've done a bunch of NSS customs.. my most recent is cupcake.. I am going to try to find a Ribbon and a Taffy and do them next :)

here is my Cup Cake.

I just love deflocked ponies :yay:

I will try deflocking some more since Angel turned out so well. I would love to have Bouncy, Lofty and Fifi - to match their babies ! :)

By the way, I used only hot water and nailpolish remover..

These deflocks are just gorgeous. I'm currently bidding on a bait lot that has at least six so-softs in it, so hopefully I'll be able to try my hand. I'll start out with Magic Star, who has no hair, so I won't ruin a good pony. ^_^ I never have liked so softs until I found out they could be deflocked, it's opened me up to a whole new set of pony characters!

A few months have passed since I posted my deflocks, and now I have some more to post!

First came Fifi...who was SO GRAY previously...

But she came out looking BEAUTIFUL!

I am SO happy with how she turned out! She was actually my easiest deflock so far. The flocking seemed to just slide right off her. I love her color combination and her symbols.

Then came Best Wishes:

Best Wishes was actually a total biotch to deflock. I'm not entirely happy with how she turned out...she's probably the worst looking of my bunch (but I still like her of course).

Then was Hippity Hop! I've wanted to deflock her for so long. I love her colors!

Her hair is rather faded. I have some leftover pink dye at home, so I'm going to repink her when I go home for Thanksgiving (I'm in school right now). Deflocking two pegasi in a row was frustrating (those wings!). I might have to wait awhile before I attempt another pegasus.

Then I did Magic Star:

I'm really happy with how she turned out!

Then I finally got the pony I've wanted to deflock more than any other: Ribbon!

I LOVE her colors! Probably because they're close to the colors of my favorite pony (Baby Ribbs). That bold greenish blue body, and chartreuse hair...I love her!

I have one more flocked pony coming in the mail soon. I'm getting really addicted to this, I think I'll have to watch myself!

They look so SO pretty now!! Great job!! :D

Wow the colors are just so radiant! But has anyone ever Re-flocked a pony? How easy/hard is it? I would love to have so many ponies that didn't come in flock with nice new flock. I'd also love to be able to de-flock and re-flock the same pony. Like a baity Lofty, then bam! a new So-soft. But How to do it..? I know they sell flocking kits, and that just plain white is what to use on all of them, but is it a dip, can they keep their on? I have so many questions!!! Ok, i'm getting off topic. I'll be de-flocking my first So-soft soon... just have to find a good place in the house to go at such a project. :2232: Thanks for sharing!

I now have the urge to go and deflock my entire SS herd.

I have a Twist that I realy want to deflock, I wanna see the purple goodness under all the flocking but her's is so nice and full that I just can't bring myself to do it! I love Hippity deflocked though, she's gorgeous!! Nice work on those!
