This custom was a commission for PikaCheck. If any of you ever have the chance to work with Pika she is wonderful! PikaCheck is originally from California and wanted a custom that would remind her of the ocean. She also mentioned how much she loved sunset colors.

I've been calling this pony "Pacific Notion" Pacific referring to the Pacific ocean and Notion referring to a thought or daydream.

She was originally a Sparkleworks and was airbrushed using Createx airbrush acrylics in sunset colors. Her symbol work and eyes were hand painted also with Createx. She's been sealed with Testor's Dullcote and her eyes were give a coat of Triple Thick gloss sealer.

Here hair is a custom blend of Napalm, Sunlight and Hypnotic from Dollyhair - gradient dyed using Rit Rose. I did not realize that the Hypnotic would not take the dye but I think that it's created an interesting effect with the yellow ends.

Now for pictures....

Amazing! Beautiful! The lanscape work just blends in so well with the pony

OMG!! I love her. If she didn't already have a home I'm sure people would be lined up to buy her!

WOW!!! Holy cow!!! OMG!!! *grabby hands* Even my husband looked over my shoulder and gasped! She is fricken AMAZING! Your airbrushing, your detail work, your colour scheme, everything - AMAZING!! I am truly floored!

*wipes drool from chin* She's absolutely gorgeous! PikaCheck is one lucky pony! I will have to commission you one day when I have the money. Just WOW!

Thanks for the loves, Pop- I really enjoyed working with you, too! And thanks again for taking the time out to create her for me- she's even more beautiful in "real life"! ^_^

PikaCheck is one lucky pony! I will have to commission you one day when I have the money. Just WOW!
Thanks, Goddess Daine- I've been meaning to commission Pop for a good two or three years now, but never had the money. I finally decided a while back that I deserved one! ;p I would tell you that it's definitely worth it, but a picture's worth a thousand words, so my praises are a little unnecessary, I think!

Wow! She's stunning! What a beauty, such lovely colours..

Beautiful! :)

Hypnotic is a polypropylene color and is solid - nylon is porous! So, the poly colors won't take dye, but nylon will. LOL I had to have Tina at Dollyhair explain it to me.

She is amazing! You did a wonderful job! I love how you painted her symbol. So pretty!

WOW. Pop-girl your customs are always so incredibly gorgeous!!! You are definitely one of my custom pony making idols!

Woah, she looks amazing! I love the colors and that symbol is great....I can't imagine painting that tiny and perfectly.

Thanks for all the lovely comments. :)

Skeen, thank you for the hair info. It never occured to me that the polypropylene hair would be so different from the nylon.

Pika, I'm happy that you're happy. :)

*gasps* She's stunning!!!
