Sounds like Hasbro are getting into a new franchise, I can't see them combining MLP and Disney though. I could be wrong of course.

i don't think it's likely that we'll be getting disney ponies since each franchise is so separate and i feel like i don't see combined franchises often anymore like you used to with special promotional barbies, etc. i say good for hasbro, though! frozen is SO the trendy thing at the moment, i've read that mattel's barbie sales haven't done well and it's speculated that frozen dolls are the competition.

They've done once before back in G3.

Granted, it was nothing really fancy, but it was still Disney themed ponies. And hey, they've already had Disney themed Transformers, so why not? Of course, it's not like my inner Pony fangirl and Disney fangirl need an excuse to team up against me.
