Ollie's G1+G4 haul

I found a bunch of mlp stuff at Ollie's today! I usually hate mailers, but I noticed they had the set with the G4.5 minty advertised, and I've been wanting her for a long time. So I caved and visited the store, not expecting much. But they actually had it in stock, as well as other mlp stuff!

I only got the friends of equestria set, but they also had card-collecting binders, and the G1 Twister figure (though only the right hoof red version. Unfortunately they didn't have any of the D&D ones I've been wanting)

I didn't realize Ollie's was a chain! I'll have to check ours out tomorrow. (TBF we have like 4-5 "discount" stores here and at least 2 I know of just buy the marked out junk from Wal-fart so I figured the others were the same lol)

thank you! Either they're not going fast in my area, or I was super lucky to get there right after they stocked cause everything was fully stocked (until I got there, that is, hehe)

definitely go soon! I'm not sure how fast everything will go but since they're non-G5 stuff I assume people will buy them up quicker.

I'm never bad-mouthing Ollie's again. I guess the one I just grew up with wasn't very good

Oh no it's like literal junk. Like the stuff that gets broken/damaged/returned and marked out. Occasionally you can find something good but not worth digging through some frankly unsanitary crap imo.

On the other hand look what I found at Ollie's! I had to really talk myself out of these

Do you have a Ross store nearby? I recently got the D&D Pony set there a few weeks ago. I think I paid about $25 for it. I was thrilled, I had really wanted it. I adore MLP of course and have a deep love of D&D. It's how I met my husband! LOL


Ah, Saturday I'll be near an Ollie's so I will def be dropping in. I want that Twister Pony!

Ollies is like an overstock store mixed with a discount store. Its like stuff that didn't sell well somewhere else was sent there to sell so I think it is also regional in what they offer. Like Hasbro is getting rid of the G4 and other pony stock to make way for G5 and so because of the bulk Ollies can send it everywhere. Like my local Ollies has a whole row of Incredibles and Minion merch but the ollies 3hrs from me has a overflow of Starwars Stormtrooper stuff. Thats it just Stormtrooper everywhere. Its also a hit and miss on prices. I went today and got a full merpony set for $15.00 but they had the small power ponies Main-iac Mayhem for $5.99 which is on par with the internet.

I just recently found out that we have one and i love the place to bits! i always find good stuff there - even if its not ponies!

I get snacks there. got 2 12packs of Dunkerroos for $5.99 each and a few packs of double stuffed reg and vanilla oreos for just $.99. When you need snacks for 4, 5yr - 17yr old kids you can beat that.

Really! I'm going to have to go by one tomorrow; I've been wanting the D&D set for a long time now but I haven't wanted to pay $60 for it, $25 sounds way more doable!

Good luck! I do hope you find a set. They're really nice, but I admit I balked at paying $60 as well. That's just too rich for my blood.

I went to Ollie's, but they only had a Photo Finish brushable and a Cutie Mark Crew Sugar Sweetie set. I bought both although I may just have Photo Finish. I have no clue as to who I own or not nowdays. I also scored the Lanyard fakies. They're very well done.

We hunt at Ollie’s and I think that Twister pony sold the worst because the ones we found also had a bunch. No signs of the others yet, so don’t count on it necessarily. XD Ollie’s is the best.

Well at least there was Photo Finish! I think they were still stocking when I got there (I get off work while it's still morning; I was there a little early haha) so I didn't see any, but sounds like a good custom potential pony. The lanyard fakies sound fun though!

Oh dear XD Unfortunately, I can see the twister one being less popular, though it's still a cutie idea. I'm going to have to go by Ollie's more now that there's a good one near me (they even just built it a couple months ago), it's right next to the Joanns I go to so it's an easy trip c:

Wow, never even considered looking at Ollies for these...but then again I don't have children so usually skip the toy aisle there...clearly an oversight on my part!
