My apologies if this has been posted already but one of my favourite sites for identification is no longer around! "Kimsites Dreamvalley Collector's Guide to My Little Pony". When I first started using the internet this was the first site I came across and I always returned to it because she had so much info on g1 ponies and merch. I am so sad that the website is not up anymore. Even when I got better at identifying ponies, their names and accessories, I always returned to this site because she just had so much info. She even had an amazing checklist which I still use!

Sorry if this is old news or if there was already a post about this, but I just found out and I feel really sad :(

Yea I heard something about this a while back, but I can imagine that would be sad. I use Ponyland Press most of the time and if they disappeared I would be lost. I guess it is expensive to host sites but I bet if people asked for donations the pony community would help.

I didn't hear anything, but I thought I was on there a few weeks ago and didn't notice anything. I've been so busy lately that it's possible that I just didn't notice if there was a note or something announcing the end. I don't know how much it was to keep running, but I imagine it isn't just the cost, it takes a lot of time to keep a site like that going as well. Too sad.

It is sad that it s gone :( Luckily I got pretty good Finnish site to identify ponies if I lost the names^^ But I agree that Dream valley got some nice stuff there but it was not really updated and there were some mistakes. I wonder why she didn't pass it to someone else to take care and get maybe donations..

Oh noes, that was the site I used to find out my childhood ponies' names.
Yes same here. I remember it was fun to id ponies on her site. I would even get my boyfriend to do it for me sometimes.

I know! I had no idea Glory's name and her site was how I found it. Plus I was able to ID my only other pony I had as a kid, flocked Twist. It was such a great site.

Awww I loved that site sad to hear it's gone.

Oh no...! That's so sad. D: That site was SO helpful to me, for identifying G1 MLPs when I was first starting to compile my collection. It was great for figuring out which pony you had, with it's selection process. I'm really sorry to hear it's gone down, it was a great resource. :<

Perhaps we should hunt down the original owner and ask how we can get it up and running again????
Yes! As a huge pony fan, I was wondering if she was a member of the trading post. I would be interested in helping out.
