this is a painting i made a while back :)
what do you think? i know i make kinda.. i'll call it special... paintings that not everyone likes, but that's the style i like myself :) and i just paint stuff i like. but i'm not wondering so much on what people think of the image itself, more the colours and paintstrokes of it ^_^ (blitz made it shiny)

My eyes keep going to the clock with the vines around it, and ignoring the bunny completely. I don't know why, but that darn clock draws me in.
 
My eye's drawn right to the clock as well. It almost has a "Donnie Darko" feel to it.

I'm not a huge bunny fan but I do like the clock!
 
That is very surreal indeed, but what strikes me the most is how unique it is. Have you done other paintings like this?
 
i based it on a sketch i made while i was bored at school :p
but i haven't made one's like this.
or kinda maybe, you can see another one i posted here in this other artwork forum ^_^
 
oh wow, it does remind me of Donnie Darko!!
It's really cool, i totally wouldn't mind having something like that hanging above the fireplace... (you know, if I HAD a fireplace... lol)
 
Its funny cuz i didin't even notice the clock at first.. i noticed the cane first and the blood on the bunny legs.. But the clock is realy cool!! The painting is cool but a little freeky lol..
 
Wow cc... this is amazing! I too am drawn to the awesome coffin clock, & then I jump to the cane & candles, and the cool bunny thing of course. I love the colors you used, especially on the cane! I really love the purpley-reds you used on the bunny & clock too. And on the candles - the yellow & teal are so different than the other colors, but they go really well. Great job on this! I can't see your brush strokes well enough, otherwise I would've commented on these for you too. ^.^
