No More Teasing (pic heavy)

So I finally got to meet with my dad and get the bag full of ponies that his friend kept adding more to and dear gods, I was not expecting so many. I thought dad was stretching the truth with his numbers, but he wasn't. I finally found out how his friend keeps finding all this stuff.

He knows of a second hand store that throws all toys into big bins together and you can pick through them. You pay by the weight, not by the item. When his friend goes looking for hot wheels and tonka toys and such things to sell online, he pulls ponies out for me. I feel relieved that he's not spending too much money, since dad assured me it isn't expensive at all. This is good because the majority are not G1, which is all I really collect, but for me the thought counts so much.

Without any further ado, here is what was contained in the magical bag my dad gave me...

First the five G1s. I knew about two of them, I was excited to find three more in there, and one is a BOY.

A lone G2 was found.

Real G3 and some McDonald's G3

Weird little G3 bug things.

G4 plush, ponies and McDonald's ponies

A tiny pony that I'm not sure what it's from, I think it's G3 related...

A couple random things that I'm not sure where they are from. The clothing was on a pony.

One Cabbage Patch Kid Pony (I'm pretty sure it is at least)

And all the fakies...

This was such an amazing gift, even if I don't plan to keep most of them, and I've had word from dad (the very next day after he gave me this bag of magic) that his friend has already started the new bag of ponies for me!!!!

Hey that is a wonderful lot of ponies. I love Breezies. I still regret not buying them when they were in the stores. Maybe that little tiny blue one is a G3 play book pony. Someone will know.

That is so awesome! Such a kind gesture too. I love how most of us collectors seem to have the ability of pulling other people into our obsession. There is something so special about getting a pony that someone else found for you, just simply because it shows they were thinking of you enough to keep an eye out for them!
