New pony room a work in progress

Yeah lucky you, mine keeps trying to groom them. He loves to groom anything with hair or that is soft so I am on the lookout for a shelf with glass doors.
 
So glad I have a well trained dog. Not to mention my ponies are in a glass cabinet well out of 4-pawed reach. :)
 
My cat always sneaks in when i unlock the 2 baby gates i have guarding the door. then she get all the way on the top of the boxes and i cant get her down until she feels like coming down

i was going to cut the shape of the desk today but it was 40 C here today so no way i was going outside
 
i have made some small progress. Not about the floor LOL but in accessories.

I found 2 ice cream float glasses that i hope to use on my computer desk to hold my pens and stuff. they cost me 2.50 each.

lol that's funny, after all it is a soft, high spot to watch things from. It is a great comfy spot for your typical love to watch from above kitty. Maybe you can try squirting your cat with water (don't hit the pony) till he/she gets the idea to stay off?

My cat likes to groom my ponies, every once and a while I will catch him. I've moved them to a new spot on a new shelf so hopefully he leaves them alone for now, but I can't trust him.
 
Update !!!!!!!

I have "possibly" found some decent flooring.

I say possibly because i don't know if i am going to go with it. I was looking for a solid bubble gum pink but so far i have found this. The color is different but not that bad and i do like the design in the tile.

1st is dusty purple 2nd is antique white 3rd is rosette

i like the rosette better then the purple.

LOVE the tile idea... and the rosette does look better :) white and rosette checked floor... just like an ice cream parlor would be!
 
What the Ponyfeathers is that giant Sundance? Is that a real MLP product? I've never seen something so amazing!!
 
giant sundance is a real Hasbro store display that was offered to department stores. she does have a so soft material body.
The cat's name is lucky paw cause she has extra thumbs on her 2 front feet.

I think the floor would look good if this is the closet i can get for tiles locally. i am waiting on another pink sample from a different company but it has not show up yet
 
Hi all,

I got another floor possibility.
This floor is called bubblegum and i can buy it from lowes in platsburg new york.
My sister goes there at least 2 times a month and sometimes i hitch a ride. Im only hoping i can find a matching white.

New floor samples came in the mail today. Woot :)

These are called "shocking" for the pink and "white out" well for the white LOL

I should be able to get these in new york providing lowes has them in stock, again not the exact color for the shoppe floor but at least it is a pink

So what do you guys think?

I like those two- I think they look nice together and will look nice in a pony room.

I'm so jealous that you are customizing a room for your collection, I would have loved to do that. I was thinking about the bookcases, and what about a trim around the edges that's a bit "lacy" in feeling like gingerbread trim?

As for the floor, based on the colours from my computer, I also think Bubblegum is too red, but prefer Rosette to Shocking. That's just my personal opinion as I like my floors to not scream at me or blind me when I walk into the room. You may be going for more of an impact, in which case the Shocking would fit the bill. If Bubblegum is actually a pink tone, then that might be a good fit.

Good luck with your room and I can't wait to see if when it's done.
 
This s so exciting, I can't wait to see it when it's done!! Shocking looks like a great color, I bet it would make a spectacular floor!
