New designs and Tween ponies coming out

Does the 'tween' one remind anyone else of the UK Mcdonald's ponies? I think it's the eyes, and the fact that her hair doesn't look like it's very neatly attached. I like the blue and white pegasus, she reminds me of G1 Windwhistler (coz most I see have faded hair), and the big ones are interesting.

I'm curious to know why these would be on Ebay...assuming I've read this right. I can't think of a single reason why they would be :S

But I'm game to sit back and see what happens. It might be interesting if this is the direction the line is going. I'm just not totally sure if I'm convinced yet...

And there are definitely flowers on the yellow pony's legs and body ;)

Does anyone else think the purple 'taf'ish one looks like someone genetically experimented on Dabble?

I like the pegasus ones :)

Those big funky looking things..I don't know what to think of those. I'll think I'm gonna ask a friend of mine about some of these. How interesting...
 
Isn't the seller in Hong Kong? That's why he has them first. I saw these yesterday and just DROOLED!! :D :D I wonder how high THESE babies are going to go...

okay. taffeta, to answer your question, i'd have to know the location of the seller. there was that seller in hong kong who was smuggling out production models and ebaying them way before they hit shelves last year.

the tween pony... eeeehhhh. i really don't like the head. it looks so... fakie. i will have to see her in person to decide if i get her.

the new pegs... OMGMAGNIFICENT. i love love love them.

the TAFs... did anyone else notice hasbro has ganked ANOTHER customizing trend, the gradient colors? LOL, hasbro's just going to copy everything customizers do. which is good, because customizers are way better at designing ponies than hasbro. XD

i CANNOT WAIT until these are released. i am going to die of anticipation.

I think they are legit because of his other auctions. He has prototypes from DC Direct action figures, Marvel action figures, even a Bratz horse. He obviously is able to get prototypes or is in contact with people who have them. :)

Whether all of them show up in stores is another question . . . but I'll bet we'll see the TAFs and pegasi mass-produced at the very least. :)

LOL!! I totally agree! :D Yay hasbro for looking to collectors/customizers for ideas!

Thanks LM!!! That makes me very happy to hear! I really like these new girls!! The pegs and tafs are awesome! (Jury is still out on the Tweens though!! :lol: )

I am going to wait until they are released, or maybe if they do WIA, I just want to have them Mint and with boxes etc. ( My opinion- I figure they look like finished product and should be available everywhere )

But I am glad we have something new to look forward to, they do remind me of some gorgeous customs, I have seen with those fades and stuff, maybe Hasbro will keep watching pony customizers?

I agree with the comment earlier about the "tween" one looking like a Mc'D pony.....
 
I definitely love the new pegs! I was hoping they would make more in Star Catchers pose. I am not so sure about the tween or the giant ponies. The tafs I would need to see in person to say for sure I think.
 
OT: I always thought "tween" referred to people in their twenties. :p

Anyways, eeeee! for the pegasus and not so much eee! for the TAFs. They look like customs. For the record I love customs but I dunno, I'm not convinced with the symbols being so generic. (Yeah I know, Hasbro is not necesarily known for being creative).

I do hope that they're making babies and/or tweenies in new poses though. I'm a sucker for those. :)
