He still has the long mane, it’s just tucked behind him. You can see it if you click the image and zoom in, just under his front legs.
Not sure how I feel about the layering of his forelock, but will wait to judge until he joins my herd.

This guy is a major throwback to my emo/scene phase, haha! Despite his weird hair I still like him. The colors are fantastic and override the hair situation. XD
