Hi everyone!

The time has come to ask for a few final missing photos for the upcoming My Little Pony G2 Collector’s Inventory guide book. Thanks to Lady Archer, MustBeJewel, and Thunderwing, the book will have some terrific photos of each pony loose and MOC! If you are willing to donate any of the needed photos, your name will be credited in the book. All photos need to be taken against a white background in digital high resolution (the higher you can do the better).

I need pictures of the following:
-1999 MOC Satin Slipper
- loose Variant Blue Hair Ivy

Here are examples of what I’m looking for as far as placement for the photos go in both loose and MOC. If you are donating a MOC picture I’d like for photos to have as little glare (ideally none) as possible.

In the next couple of days I will also be doing a picture callout for a few photos of loose G2 playsets with accessories. I have photos of all of the playset ponies and MIB pictures of the playsets, but want to get pictures of them loose. I have several (but not all) of the playsets myself MIB, but would rather avoid opening them if at all possible. If you have a loose G2 playset (or many) and would be willing to take photos, please let me know. I’ll be posting specific playset needs later this week.

Thanks!

Re

I know this is the wrong background, but I just couldn't resist sharing this photo I took of my Ivy a few years ago. :)

Loose Playsets

I have the loose USA playsets, bride and bed. The ones that came with magic motion dainty dove and lightheart.

I've also got the mansion and castle, MIB but opened. I don't mind taking pics of them, though none of the stickers have been attached to either one. I also have, I think, the ballroom. I'd have to check if that one was opened or not.

You can find me at the Arena when you're ready. ^.^

Hi!

I have some loose G2's in my photobucket album. I also have MM Bright Bramley loose with her accessories and also I can get a picture showing the variation between two versions of Beauty Salon Ivy. One with light pink hair and the other with fuschia.

In response to your post, I just took some digital pictures of my loose G2 long-haired Ivy from the Pretty Parlor (using my good digital camera, not my bad one), but unfortunately I may not get a chance to post the pictures here until sometime tomorrow. My computer is such a dinosaur that it doesn't recognize my digital camera (not to mention that my internet connection here is super slow), so I might have to upload and post my pictures from work tomorrow. (Maybe after hours, so it doesn't look like I'm not doing work...)

How interesting, that long-haired Ivy just happens to be one of the three G2 ponies that I have... Apparently, I'm not much of a G2 collector... yet....

Rats... so apparently the computers at work don't recognize my digital camera either... don't know why. I tried three different computers. I think I'll have to try to create a photo CD from one of those photo kiosks at the stores sometime and upload my pictures of my Ivy that way. Sorry for the delay...

*edit* Actually, never mind... I got the computer to recognize my camera. I didn't realize that I needed to turn my camera ON for the computer to recognize it...

Anyway, I took a bunch of pictures of my Ivy yesterday evening. Plenty of pictures for you to choose from. Hopefully you can find something that can match what you are looking for to put in your book.

G2s

Hey SweetTune,

I'm looking forward to seeing your G2 book. It'll be great to have a good resource for the G2s! (although Rainbow Forest has done pretty good for me so far) I wish I could help on photos, but I take really lousy photos. >_<

I also love the fact that you'll be doing MOC pictures as well. Any chance a G1 MOC book'll ever be in the works? I'd buy it for sure!

mulblies- Thanks for the offer for photos, the one of Bright Bramley is great, but I don't think I need any of them. I'll let you know if anything changes.
