Need Help with Plush pony....ANY advice welcome!

So I am wanting to make custom plush ponies. I used to, many moons ago, but I got busy with school. I only ever finished 2, sadly. A G1 Twilight for myself and a custom for Rebel Dream. I was using the G1 Hasbro pattern, but now I am interested in making my own pattern. Honestly, I plan on basing it around the G4 plushies

Does anyone have any tips on how to make your own pattern? Or tips for making plush ponies using a guide (like Twilight Sparkle) I have a sewing machine, and sewing experience, but not a lot of stuffed animal making experience.

Any tips, tricks, and advice is welcome

I can try & draw out the shape of my pattern & maybe you can blow it up? Not sure I could explain it. I drew my own & then after making a few tweeked it here & there.

oh, that looks pretty similar to the pattern I made. Sure that would work great too!
