I am so proud of this that I just had to share it over here too. I haven't done digital inking in a while so it was good to go that again-I haven't lost my touch XD
So to explain this. My friend Vicky (on dA ) and I are working on our own Nightmare Before Christmas story that focuses around Jack and Sally's song Robby, and Santa's amnesiatic daughter Harmony (who can turn into a werewolf). There are other influeneces in it like "The Grim Adventure of Billy and Mandy", and some KH stuff. The basic premisis is that Harmony ends up in Halloweentown with amnesia and becomes Robby's friend. Then the guardian of Friday the 13th (Lethe) who's been jealous of Harmony since forever finds out she turns Robby into a heartless-demon thingy and then everything gets really crazy and bad.
So this picture is about the two of them. Robby being half in his demonic form, and he can control fire (why scarecrow doesn't burn) while Harmony is half between her wolf and elf forms, and being the daughter of the lord of Christmastown gives hger the affinity to the ice and snow.
So yes. Inspired much by those, Bleedman's comic "Grim Tales from Down Below" and Robert Frost's poem "Fire and Ice" actually.
