Got to visit the city, and the city must love me!
That morning at value village:
I freaked when I spotted this. Beautiful condition carry case filled with early issue ponies and accessories. They SMELL new even. I also scored some g2 accessories. g2 ponies, nowhere to be found though.
VV stuff, out of the bags. Also, ponies I picked up at the vintage toy store we stayed by. They had some other nice stuff too.
Sunday toyshow goodies (our reason for the whole trip)
My boyfriend was the one who spotted Tex, covered in pink chalk. (who ended up costing a whole $4) asked "is this one good?" um, yeah!
Everything is kinda split up by the booths I found them at. ended up digging through a lot of bins on the floor and ended up with the little accessories that way (a lot were bagged with a bunch of other junk, or g3 accessories. and set me back $2-5) I was super stoked to get a perfect wiggles, sparkly shoes. The ponywear in a bag with baby lofty's accessories was a fun find - $3 for it all! but so grubby. (the baby lofty was in a different bag, with some g3's and her little eyes were rusted out so I left her.)
As I was leaving a fellow at one booth just put out a bag with a brother, and two babies. HOLY cow. I've been hunting for a 4-speed that nice forever. Paint, perfect! Hair PINK, and he's not all horrible and grey/brown. best of all? $8 for the bag Baby!
Everything at the show set me back $85. with stuff I didn't put in the picture. I also got some carebears, a vintage 60's barbie, and a bunch of stuff from those bags I bought.
The best part? My boyfriend spotted another collector digging through the ponies at the booths. Said hello and showed off our goodies. She found some sweet stuff too. It was so nice to see other collectors out here!
Now, my favorite part- the cleaning and grooming.
