I bought the Satin Slipper Sweet Shoppe for $20 shipped, and Scoops separately a little later. I have since painted the place to bring some life to the bare molded details.

Prior to the painting, I did this photocomic with it:

So, what do you all think? I'm planning on adding some more internal furnishings - anyone got suggestions?

That's so freakin funny! I love the comic! X'D I love the repaint. Its stunning

Many thanks to you both! Glad you like the comic!:ponylove:
..Still looking for suggestions for additional internal furnishings

Darn! I can't see your comic. The repainting you did are excellent! Anyone would be proud to own that!

Weirdly enough it shows just fine on the PC. My laptop is obviously just a jerk.

Hah! Hilarious! Insecticons take a lotta Raid to get rid of!

ROFLOL best laugh I have had all day. Repaint is fantastic. I repainted my Paradise Estate because it was brown when I got it from age. Its fun to do that. My favorite part is OOF and Stay out! Just perfect.

Thankies ^w^

I-I hate to beg, but would somebody please offer some suggestions for additional internal furnishings?

You could try looking at dollhouse items and see if you can find tables, chairs and miniature food items and maybe draw fake money to make transactions?

You could get little tables with umbrellas and little sodas for the ponies!

BTW I love the repaint! I wish it was sold like that!

Thanks, both of you! ...If this set had been complete, it would have actually come with a table, two chairs, sundaes and malts, and even a specials board, and I want to track those down. But I can definitely find or make similar stuff too! Leave a Whisper, I love your money suggestion.

I did have a couple ideas myself in the mean time that I wanted to run by you: Jukebox, soda fountain, and TV. Would those work?

Those would be awesome! A mini juke box would be so cool and so would a soda fountain. You can also get mini working claw games, mini gashapon machines and the Shopkins line has some very cute playsets if you wanted to add a snack vending machine.

Well, if there's room I'll see if I can make a claw game and/or a capsule machine. As for the vending machine, that seems a bit out of place in a restaurant (and is also out of my budget currently).

You know... I'm almost certain I have a little mini jukebox that would fit to scale. Lemme look and see if I do.

You could also take polymer clay and make little deserts and cakes. I've made stacks of cookies and such for our sets. In fact, if I get some spare time, I'd be glad to make some for you, Zelda!

Spreading the love through fake plastic baked goods!
