My roller coaster life

Ugh. So the past few months have had some HIGH highs and some LOW, LOW, LOW, lows.

In November, my first novel was published as an ebook and then was released in paperback in early December! It's a fantasy novel geared at teens and young adults, and sales haven't been bad. So that was a huge development for a person who's been dreaming of being an author for 16 years, give or take.

But then at the end of December, my parents were killed in a house fire. I was SO close to them and the loss has devastated me. Now my older sister and I are taking care of my younger sister who has some serious developmental delays and a bunch of psychatric issues too. It has been a difficult adjustment, and one I was completely unprepared for. All her vital documents were lost in the fire.

Then my grandma passed away last week after being diagnosed with a massive pancreatic tumor.

I am having a hard time. If any of you are religious, prayers are appreciated. If not, send some good vibes my way. I'm super depressed today.

I am so sorry to hear that you have had so many losses. It breaks my heart to read your post. I am very proud of you about the book I have always wanted to write books that is just wonderful. I can't imagine how hard it would be to try to take care of your sister. But I believe that if God put her in your care he had a good reason. He feels you'll be the best one to take care of her. I will say prayers for you. I am very sorry.

You poor dear! I'm so sorry to hear about all the tragedy you and your family have faced! Of course I'll keep your family in my prayers.

Congratulations on your book being published, you deserve it and I'm so glad that part of your life is going well for you!

Keep your chin up sweetie, life sometimes is downright crazy and it has nothing to do with anything you've done to deserve it. Bad stuff just happens to good people sometimes! Just stay strong and don't give up. You still have your two wonderful sisters, thank goodness! *BIG HUGS* I have three daughters and I tell them that their sisters are really angels in disguise to help them each through life. I think you and your sisters are the same for eachother.
