G4 My Little Pony "Pop" What do you think?

Do you like the new "Pop" Pony concept?

Okay, I guess. I would probably love them as a child, but now not so much. I do love the Sugarcube Corner, though ^^
 
I kinda like the concept. We finally get something new! ;)

Buuut... The ponies don't seem very sturdy and the wings/hair can easily be knocked off. I am really excited about the buildings though, particularly the Sweet Shop since I've been waiting on that playset for a while now! It may only be built for the pop ponies, but at least we get one.
 
I like the idea that you can customize them. I can't think of a kid that would not appeal to!
 
I like my ponies to be made of solid plastic, with nylon hair... The G4 blind bags never appealed to me, and these things even less so. They don't feel like ponies to me at all. I don't want something that looks like a cereal box prize... and like it'd break if you so much as looked at it funny. I never liked these kind of toys when I was a child either, they couldn't hold my attention for more than five minutes. I'd put it together, look at it for a bit, and then discard it immediately. The assembly is the fun part, and after that it's just not interesting anymore. It's not lasting, and therefore probably not worth the money, unless it costs like a dollar or less.
 
I saw some on toys r us the other day and was mostly confused about what they were. Cute idea, but I can see where things would get all lost very quickly.
 
Hmm I've seen these and I'm not quite sure what to think. I don't recon I'm gonna be buying any of them anytime soon, but I can see the fun in them for kids and maybe customizers, all the different bits and bobs. It's very different, if nothing else :)
