well, what it is, when i was 10 years old i sent a drawing into the MLP magazine of a pony I had made up and coloured in and named her Snowflake and they published the drawing and soon afterwards the pony was in the shops!!!! i want to find that drawing in that magazine which is proving extremely difficult . i need help :scratch:

You can often find the comics for sale on ebay I doubt they copied your design though - as you say "soon after", when any design would surely take months if not years to be produced in toy form. Snowflake was released in 1986 so that really doesn't leave much time, not to mention that Hasbro UK, and certainly publishers of a comic they licensed to, really wouldn't have had ANY say in the actual toy line production.

Do you remember anything about the issue it was in? Like who was on the cover or anything like that?

I scan in the comics regularly and I will keep an eye out for your picture. Is your first name Shelly? They do usually include names, so I'll look for that too!

my drawing appeared in the comic and i got a letter thanking me for it - then it was made! i just want to find a copy of the comic to find my picture thats all

I can't remember what the cover was like but i know i drew the picture using my new felt tip pens i got for christmas - my favourite colour cerise pink! so it was the edition after the christmas one 1985/86. thank you i would really appreciate it if you would keep an eye out and i would have either signed it shelly or michelle (formal school name haha) :laughsnow:

I know - but i was only young but i got so excited about my picture being in the comic and then my mum had to buy me the pony from the shop!
