Im just sick to dying. Ive been moving and my ponies have all been in storage. Most of the time weve been in the upper 90s and 100s. HOT.
I have two customs who are patricularly bad. One has a face reminds me of the end of Death Becomes Her and the other is an in progress pony for a carosel horse series Im starting.
Refer to pics.
I use white spray paint as a base and acrylics for details. Then sealed with spray artist sealer.
Fix ideas? Paint removal ideas since the one was in rehairing process?
Im newer to customizing and majored in 2D concepts rather than 3D so this is a new art arena for me. I love it, but I feel like my guts are ripped out here.

I think the problem is the spray paint. Generally sprays don't work well on pony vinyl, even if sealed. You can see how it's only the white bits that are running. Most likely the spray never fully cured. Acrylics are really the best and only paints for ponies.

Whats the best way to remove the paint? Should I use acetone? Or is there something else I should try?
I have another spray painted custom that didnt melt but she cured several days between steps. And my silver one is all acrylic so I see how it could be the spray paint.

Try boiling it in a pot for a while to loosen it up rest of the way, then scrub with Acetone and/or rubbing alcohol perhaps

Maybe try a toothbrush to scrub everything away

I have managed to strip old full body repaints off old customs before to remake them, it takes elbow grease but is manageable x.x

Acetone is best, yes.
