I'm a bit partial to Chatterbox, because we'd been casually calling her that during development. As far as during my design process, she was just "TP Pony" in my files lol. ;)

And we all know what @Sassarazzmadazzles called her from the start... :rofl:
 
I am still partial to Chit Chat, lol.

whatever the name will be, it will be awesome

I too am very attached to Chatterbox because that’s how I’ve known her forever and ever. But a new name is welcomed too. ;)

That was one of my favourites as well but it is also the name of a well known adult phone line so we couldn’t go with that for obvious reasons. ;)

I’m attached to the ol’ Chatterbox for the secret project I’d been working on. We got close through the process. :rofl:

While we have had a lot of great name suggestions we gathered what was the most popular and less “problematic” names. This is what resulted in the names that made it to the poll for official voting. We recognize some of us may have attachments to other names and we understand those feelings.

No matter the finial outcome, we just want everyone to know we appreciate the input and fun that was brought forward with naming our mascot. <3

I had no idea some names were problematic or shared its name with that…. Oh dear. I guess some names don’t work as well as other places in the world.
I can’t wait to see what the name will end up being though :smile:

I also have a question but I don’t know if it belongs elsewhere, are there any rules about if we wanted to doodle the mascot? There may be an obvious answer for drawing mascots but I’ve never really been in an online community before

Hoofnote and Posty are both really cute! I also like the alliteration offered by Posty Pony.
 
Hi!! I voted Chatterbox - Also loved: Post MaPone, Chit Chat, Scuttlebut, Juicy Story, ...and my own contribution to the brainstorm would be "Qwerty"
 
I like Posty. It's short and sweet. It represents the old and new concepts of communication connection. Posting on line and posting in the mail, which is a trait of MLP collectors and friends in swaps, sales, etc. Posty also makes me think of Posey, a little nod to a G1. Also, it's the trading post, so the word "Post" is fitting and part of her namesake.

The other names are cool, but are we all really Chatterboxes? Not really. I'm an old collector and I lurk, but will post when I feel connected, hence Posty. Hoofnote, sounds like Halfnote and almost a Rockin' Beats type name, so not really trading post vibe.
